(More customer reviews)I bought this as opposed to buying real flowers on valentines day. It is childish but the girlfriend got a kick out of it. There is a rare earth magnet in the base of the flower. You just put the flower in the wand and tap it to the base inside the pot. The pot has a piece of metal in it so the flower sticks to the base and comes out of the wand. It works best if you do it fast. My only complaint is that there is no padding for the base of the flower. So when it gets close to the base of the pot, the magnet slaps in to the base really hard. This makes a loud cracking sound. I feel if you did this enough times, the rare earth magnet will break since they are brittle. Overall it's an ok toy.
